O nome deste blog pode parecer estranho para muitos. Para mim, porém, faz todo o sentido. O quark, tanto quanto sei, é a partícula mais elementar do núcleo do átomo. Aquilo que achei interessante é que os quarks nunca existem por si só – estão sempre, impreterivelmente juntos. Fiquei muito satisfeito por “descobrir” que este elemento essencial de que todos somos feitos só pode existir quando agregado a outros semelhantes, deixando-me concluir que realmente somos seres sociais, até à última partícula.
A internet mudou drasticamente e todos estamos a transferir as nossas vidas para a web. Esta mudança tem tantos riscos como oportunidades. O factor mais importante para mim é que, tanto pessoas como empresas percebam que, independentemente das tecnologias, os seres humanos querem ligar-se, relacionar-se e partilhar experiências.
Este blog é uma tentativa de ver esta mudança através de uma lente límpida, identificando ligações, interpretando tendências e, se tudo correr bem, sendo minimamente útil no processo.
This blog’s name may strike several people as being rather strange. But it makes perfect sense, to me at least. A quark, to my knowledge, is the most elementary particle in the nucleus of an atom. The interesting thing about quarks is that they cannot exist alone. I was happy to find out that the most fundamental particle of which we are made of exists only in conjuction with another. Funny, we are social beings, up to the last particle.
The internet has changed dramatically and we are all shifting our lives online. This has as many risks as it has opportunities. The most important factor for me is that, both people and businesses must understand that, whatever the technology, humans want to connect, relate and share experiences.
This blog is an attempt at seeing these changes through a clear lens, identifying connections, interpreting patterns and, hopefully being moderately useful in the process.
