Leonardo de Melo Gonçalves é consultor em New e Social Media, ajudando organizações a adaptarem-se e optimizarem a sua actividade, aproveitandos as inúmeras oportunidades geradas pela forma como hoje se socializa através da Internet.

Tem vindo a desenvolver um percurso que passou pela criação de iniciativas online próprias (Portal do Jardim.com – 2006 – O maior portal de jardinagem em Portugal), o acompanhamento estratégico de sites e publicações online e a iniciativas de ordem cívica como a Constituição 2.0, em 2009. Em 2007 fundou a Reflexo Virtual, empresa especializada em Online Publishing e em 2009 lançou o projecto Rex New Media, prestando serviços de consultoria para social media. É também associado-fundador e responsável pela área Web no Instituto da Democracia Portuguesa, um think tank independente.

Leonardo de Melo Gonçalves is a New and Social Media consultant and entrepreneur, helping organisations adapt and optimise their actions, taking advantage of broad opportunities in the way people interact through the Web.

He has launched his own web initiatives (Portal do Jardim.com – 2006 – The largest gardening website in Portugal), he has given ongoing strategic advice on website development and online publications and he as also launched e-democracy projects, such as Constituição 2.0, a wiki constitution project for Portugal. In 2007 he launched Reflexo Virtual, a company that specialises in Online Publishing and, in 2009, he launched Rex New Media, a social media consulting project. He is also a co-founder and web strategist of the Institute for Portuguese Democracy, a non-partisan Lisbon-based think-tank.
